WP Housing, working in conjunction with Countryside Properties, offered a brownfield 2.7 acre site to Midland Heart under a package agreement. WP Housing was appointed to assist in drafting the bespoke development agreement, agree on the specification and negotiate the build contract sum.
The development proposed 50 affordable homes on a former factory site that had been cleared and left vacant for a number of years. Working alongside the project team WP Housing helped to devise a new contemporary design to fit into the local street scene and make good use of the area.
The resulting housing solution of 30 Affordable Rent and 20 Shared Ownership homes, is breathing new life into the area and it is delivering much-needed affordable housing for the Bidford-on-Avon residential community.
